Instructions on how to fill out the Florence County Trails Worksheet
The problem that we are having is that our hours logged are not correctly entered.
A person cannot drive an ATV/UTV and operate a Chainsaw and clear the brush all at the same time.
For example, you and your spouse take your one ATV/UTV and one Chainsaw and go out and clear some trails.
You leave at 10 AM on the UTV and ride 20 minutes, stop to cut up a fallen tree and move the brush to the side of the trail.
You operate the chainsaw for 5 minutes.
You and your spouse take another 5 minutes to drag the brush off the trail.
This goes on 10 times until you return home at 3 PM.
*You need to fill out 2 separate worksheets, one for yourself and one for your spouse.*
Your Equipment Time cannot add up to Total Hours Worked because you cannot operate a Chainsaw while you are operating an ATV/UTV.
Your worksheet will have the following hours logged:
TOTAL HOURS WORKED
Your total hours worked is from the time you left your house to your return, 5 hours.
EQUIPMENT HOURS
Equipment 9145 - Snowmobile, ATV/UTV - this time would be 3.3 hours.
Equipment 914 - Chainsaw - this time would be .8 hours.
Your spouse's worksheet will have the following hours logged:
TOTAL HOURS WORKED
Your total hours worked is from the time you left your house to your return, 5 hours.
EQUIPMENT HOURS
Equipment 9145 - Snowmobile, ATV/UTV - no time logged, only one ATV/UTV was used.
Equipment 914 - Chainsaw - no time logged, only one Chainsaw was used.
Note:
You both cannot log Equipment 9145 - Snowmobile, ATV/UTV - unless you were on separate vehicles.
You both cannot log Equipment 914 - Chainsaw - unless you used two Chainsaws.
When you stop to clear the brush or operate a chainsaw, the ATV/UTV time stops. No matter if you leave the machine to idle or not.
